This workshop, featuring retired C.S. Mott Foundation program officer Dr. Pat Edwards, focused on providing participants with in-depth information, strategies, and learning opportunities for sustaining 21st CCLC programs.

Workshop Objectives:

To share information about the about 5 essential “first steps” to sustainability - creating and communicating your vision, providing high-quality afterschool programs, using measurable objectives and outcomes, building a broad base of community support, and developing a sustainability plan.
To provide strategies for searching for funding opportunities.
To share a step-by-step process for responding to RFPs.
To communicate strategies and tools for writing organized proposals.
